Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Headliner, operated by Franz Etten("we", "us", "our"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Headliner.
1. What Headliner is
Headliner is a festival discovery platform for the UK and Ireland. We help you find festivals through search, browsing, and reviews written by other users. We are not a ticket seller — when you buy tickets, you're transacting directly with the festival or its official ticket provider, not with us.
2. Accounts
- You need a Google account to sign in and write reviews. Browsing and searching don't require an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your account secure.
- You must provide accurate information and not impersonate anyone else.
Minimum age
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
3. Reviews and content you submit
- You retain ownership of any review or content you submit.
- By submitting a review, you grant us a licence to display it publicly on Headliner, for as long as your review remains on the site.
- Reviews must be your own genuine opinion, based on real experience. Don't post anything defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- We may remove reviews that violate these terms, are spam, or are reported as inaccurate or abusive, at our discretion.
- We don't guarantee reviews are accurate, complete, or representative — they reflect individual users' opinions.
4. Festival information accuracy
We research and compile festival details (dates, prices, lineups, ticket links, accessibility information, and similar) from public sources and the festivals themselves. While we aim for accuracy:
- Festival details can change at short notice — dates shift, lineups are announced or altered, festivals can be cancelled or postponed.
- We are not responsible for losses arising from relying on information that has since changed. Always confirm details on the festival's official site before making plans or purchasing tickets.
- Links to external ticket sites, festival websites, and social media are provided for convenience. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from Headliner without our permission
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Post spam, malicious links, or content that violates any law
- Use another person's account without permission
- Submit fake reviews, including reviews for festivals you didn't attend
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Headliner name, logo, and site design are ours. Festival content we've written (descriptions, editorial content in The Lowdown) is also ours, except where explicitly sourced from a named third party. You may not copy or reproduce our content without permission.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Headliner is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that search results will always be accurate or relevant to your needs.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Losses arising from festival cancellations, changes, or inaccuracies in listed information
- Issues arising from third-party ticket purchases or festival attendance
- Indirect or consequential losses of any kind arising from your use of the site
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Headliner after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
