Best For
- Reliving Nineties and Noughties dance floor anthems
- A single-day event with no camping commitment
- Sharing old skool nostalgia with a like-minded crowd
About
Old skool dance is the whole point here, a single September day given over to Nineties and Noughties rave, house and disco classics rather than new music. Sets run through the piano-house, hardcore and club anthems that filled floors first time round, played to a crowd of thousands who tend to have lived through the era themselves. It is an adults-only, standing event with no camping, running from late morning into the evening on the open ground of a Cornish agricultural showground near Wadebridge. Expect big stage production, screens and lighting geared toward nostalgia rather than a sprawling multi-stage site, plus performers, giveaways and pop-up bars between the music. The daytime format and end-of-summer timing make it a self-contained day out. It suits people who want familiar anthems and a shared throwback atmosphere over discovering emerging artists.
