About

Radio 2 shifts its whole operation to a different UK city each year, and for 2026 that means three days in City Park, a stretch of open ground in central Stirling overlooked by the castle. The programming leans firmly mainstream, drawing chart pop, classic rock and soul names alongside the station's own presenters, who host stages and DJ across the weekend. Everything is broadcast live on Radio 2 and BBC Sounds, so the atmosphere carries a certain radio-show energy, with sets running from midday through the evening across three stages. It is a large event, with tens of thousands attending each day, but its city-centre setting keeps it accessible and non-committal, since there is no camping and most people travel in daily. It tends to suit those who want recognisable acts in a straightforward, well-organised day out rather than a weekend under canvas.

Lineup

Headlined by Chaka Khan and Simple Minds, with sets from The Script, James Blunt, Deacon Blue, Emeli Sandé, Texas and Lulu also confirmed.
